Bo Nix is really good

He is getting better every week.

18 TDs to 6 total turnovers on the season

Starting week 3: 17 total TDs to 2INTs

Last 4 weeks: 10 total TDs to 1INT

The eye test shows it aswell. Nix should be getting as much hype as Daniels. Payton has done a great job with him and he is mobile,
smart and has a good arm. Daniels couldn’t even throw passes longer than 5 yards on Thursday. Nix looks better than Daniels right now and I think he could end up having better numbers (he has 4 more TDs already) than Daniels by the end of the year and could end up winning the offensive rookie of the year over Daniels.

He is. Knows when to use his legs and minimize his mistakes. You can tell he is well coached and has the benefit of a great defense.

Yes. Watch out for the Bronco’s. They are going to be the story in the second half of the season.

Poor Caleb, he’s just misunderstood.

I thought the Broncos would push for a WC spot this season, Nix is great when he’s not pressured… All their losses have come against playoff teams. Payton is a great coach, makes me wonder what went on between him and Russ.

I think it’s a team culture thing. Wilson and Payton weren’t on the same page as Wilson seems to be a “me first” type of guy which doesn’t sit well with members of the Parcells tree like Payton, Belichick or Campbell.

Nix was my personal favorite QB prospect from last years draft. His numbers against pressure in college were astronomically higher than any other QB coming out of that draft. And that often translates to the NFL pretty well. And he ended up with Sean f****** Peyton as his head coach, could not have asked for a better Landing spot.

Yeah I definitely thought he was the safest QB to draft because of his ability to throw under pressure, as you said, but also because of his accuracy and processor. He also showed improvement from year to year.

I saw many of his games in college last year. The guy just wins!!!

He went undrafted in my fantasy league, and I picked him as a free agent!!!

Me very smart!

Can still get him at +600 to win OROY.

Russ couldn’t execute the offense at the level Payton wanted him to. As I have said previously, Russ holds onto the ball while guys are open. The offense has to be “dumbed down” and his throws have to be limited in order to be successful. People always thought that Pete Carrol was “holding back” Russell Wilson…as in Russ was better than Pete was allowing him to be. In reality Pete was saving Russell from himself.

Nix seemed like good value to me. A lot of people were downgrading him because of Auburn but his game was far more mature than, say, Caleb Williams to my eye.

@stephenboyd57 drafted him in the mock draft.

I wanted Daniels, settled for Nix. You cats are very lucky I aint running the Vikings

There are alot of real life teams that are lucky that the GM of the Vikings is the GM of the Vikings. That coaching staff is really good. The thing that is holding them back is Kwesi.

I really liked Nix in college. Didn’t have some of the measurable as some of the other quarterbacks in front of him but just seemed like a pure gamer to me when I watched him.

Glad he’s doing well! Broncos are going to be fun to watch in the second half of the season.
