Hutch really could determine just how mediocre to good to great this defense could be. He was good as a rookie, now he gets a full offseason in the nfl weightroom, he was doubled teamed a ton last year. I think he was top 5 in the nfl in facing double teams.
With the emergence of Houston, and hopefully Paschal. Hutch may see a lot less doubles and that could lead to some elite production. Dare I say 15 sacks!? Hopefully. But that only happens if the rest of the D-line is playing well too. And if Alim plays as good as he looks physically that would be huge for the edge rushers if QB’s can’t step up in the pocket.
