I often trade up for Mykel too, but usually not that high. And I certainly don’t include any future firsts. He needs to fall a little further for that to happen imo.
And I’m in agreement with Brad. We were top 5 DVOA last year before the injuries killed us. Everyone acts like we were the trash defense from the end of the year, and that just isn’t true. We were really, really good. I’d like to add a body at edge somewhere (but it doesn’t have to be in the 1st), but if that’s all we do, I’m fine with it.
I think a lot of people in here would lose their minds though lol

I can agree that it is hard to have 2 premium Edge pass rushers. But what is a premium Edge pass rusher? Top 6/7? (roughly top 10% of starters)
But what we do need is competent pass rushing opposite of Hutch. I still think Z is very much in play. And if he re-signs, I feel much better. If we draft an upper-level prospect Edge, I will feel better. I can trust Brad, but I have no belief that the position is ignored. I will have grave concerns if the position is left as is.
The seven rounder was interesting, and it would alleviate some of my concerns. But mocks are a great way to entertain at this point of the year, but not much more.
Yeah, that’s the one I was referring to. I’m assuming they meant 2026 1st round pick.
100% agree here. I do respect that a little thought went behind the players selected but please no 2026 1st rounder. We have too many players on 1 year deals.

I wouldnt have a problem with it but it would have to be for someone that normally wouldnt be in that 10/11/12 position(Graham/Carter/Hunter)
WTF kinda paragraph is this:

DO NOT want to move down, I expect us to move up, bc staying at 28 sucks , it means that 27 of these draft picks would be gone, and I sure don’t want to lose more by moving down and waiting to draft longer.
While those picks have to go somewhere I’m still trusting the process….
Go look at where the Pats drafted with TB and yet they stayed competitive… we have Goff for a few more year, Lord willing!
Lol news break is articles from other reporters, they have things from the Detroit news , A to Z sports, USA today tons of different sources. Some are less creditable then others, but alot of different sources.
