Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams also officially returned from his two-game suspension this week for violating the NFL’s performance-enhancing substances policy.

Coach Dan Campbell said they won’t waste any time getting him back involved in the offense.

"He’s been here. So, he couldn’t be out there in practice, but he was here training, we had him running, he’s in the meetings … all of that," Campbell said on Monday. "So, he’s been here and honestly, throwing him back in there. I mean, he’s going. Let’s go.

Also on Jamo…he was suspended but allowed to be at Allen Park running and in meetings the last 2 weeks? I thought a suspension was just the opposite? And couldn’t be with the team.

Good news but surprising.

The call was okay. The ejection was nothing short of an attempt to sway the outcome of the game and you will never convince me otherwise.

Yeah he deserved to get 15 for helmet to helmet. Thats going to get called every time.

But the ejection was over the top and I firmly believe the NFL was trying to keep GB in it for ratings and fan interest.

So I’m ok with Branch flipping off the fans. Kinda proud of him for voicing his disappointment.

But I think he did the right thing apologizing too.

The mea culpa was for the commissioners sake.

If so, they did a shit job. That game was as dull as it could be for a neutral.

Goodell hasn’t been very popular, and my opinion on him is that he is the the worst pro sports commissioner, ever.

I’m good with his apology and I think he’s a good dude overall but I will say that the flip off was trashy and we can’t forget that little kids watch and emulate these players.

Look at the game, not his personality. The game is fantastic. The owners are making money. The players are making money.

Goodell has been the best NFL commish EVER.

I personally think a child could have been commissioner over the same time period and been a raging success. The league has a great foundation with the salary cap and parity not to mention the spread of easy gambling and especially fantasy football. The commissioner just has to not screw it up.
