Brandin Cooks to Saints

.

No reunion with Goff… as expected.

No help for any other contenders either…

I didn’t even know he was still playing football. If he played last year I sure don’t remember it

Cooks missed 7 games in the middle of season with a knee infection.

When he returned for final 6 games… Dak was already out, and the Cowgirls offense was a dumpster fire. He was lucky enough to “miss” the Lions beat down.

If healthy… I think he might still be relegated to #3/#4 type of WR at age 32.

That explains why I don’t remember him. He was playing in dumpster fire Dallas :joy:

He is a very good #3 to have

Mr. Concussion Brandin Cooks

Brandin Cooks has to be one of the most traded players in NFL history. Particularly when considering that some of those trades involved premium compensation.

  • Drafted by the Saints
  • Saints traded him to the Patriots for a 1st and a 3rd
  • Patriots traded him to the Rams for a 1st
  • Rams traded him to the Texans for a 2nd
  • Texans traded him to the Cowboys for a 5th and 6th

He signed contract extensions with the Rams and Texans. Despite playing for 5 different teams, this was the first time Cooks was ever able to be a “free agent.” He has (6) 1,000 yard seasons and $116M in career earnings. What an interesting place in history Brandin Cooks occupies.
