Really was a waste bringing him back and using an IR return spot for him.
With the way this defense has gone though injuries everyone on the 53 has to produce. He should have not been one of the guys to come back on the roster sorry was a bad pick in the 3rd round 2 years ago and is wasting a roster spot in the stretch run.
Reason Manu was even worse after Bromart you can’t have 2 guys wasting 53 man roster spots that are not producing especially with half the defensive starters on IR.
12 games down 2 combine snaps for Bromart and Manu. Both with 3rd round value draft picks.
I get having long term developmental guys but how about you finish developing 1 guy before drafting the other. In back to back season and using good draft capital to do so. So you can’t cut and add to the PS because you risk wasting that pick. Where you could with a 6th 7th round developmental flyer.
Brad has done a great job no doubt but some moves have to be questioned and at this point Bromart is one and Manu is not far behind especially when the draft comes around next year and we don’t have a 3rd round pick again and we need to fill the roster out with good young talent that can contribute. Because we are not going to be able to sign many Vets with the long term deals we have handed out.
Right, let’s find the less than 5% of guys who haven’t hit (yet) and hammer the GM for it, despite the fact that he’s on an all-time heater for doing the opposite.
Do you really get it? Or are you just having difficulty understanding how Brad can do that (and carry Sorsdal) while fielding an 11-1 football team with a massive run of injury bad luck?
This is amazing from my bleacher seats. I’m thrilled to see how these seedlings grow (or not) and keep our OL and DL strong (or not) into 2025 and beyond. Give me a couple years to acclimate to Football Heaven and maybe I’ll find something to rankle me.
Hello. Just so you know, this post has been nominated for the 2024 Nitpicky award. Congrats on the honor, only going to to nit pickiest of nitpicking posts on the internet.
Would be interesting if AG threw some 3-4 looks at GB this week, with Alim, BroMart and Reader on the line and Campbell, Long, Nowaske and Alexander at LB. That should stop the run pretty effectively, then let a healthy secondary take care of the rest.
We all know Kerby owns GB anyway.
I am excepting a big jump in snaps for bromart according to all of you.
I seen a post about Sorsdal he was also a 5th round pick not top 100 I can see taking a chance in the last 3 rounds of a draft on development. If he doesn’t show up next training camp looking like a back up tackle he will be cut.
Why are you telling us? You should get ahold of Sheila and let her know how ceappy her GM is. Maybe she’ll buy you a new Ford pickup or some concrete boots or something.
