Well, it remains an interesting topic of discussion. After all, how many years have we talked about the fact that Jim Caldwell’s record vs teams above .500 was 4-23, yet he managed to have three out of four seasons be winning ones, i.e. 11-5, 9-7, and 9-7.
The Lions were 2-6-1 against teams with a winning record in 2021, and 2-6 against teams with better than a .500 record in 2022.
It’s really unfortunate that the NFL changed the rules such that the teams with the most wins against teams with winning records are the ones that go to the playoffs
Whats so odd about the scheduling is all teams from each division play the same schedule minus 3 games lol. NFCN teams played their conference (6) the AFCW (4) the NFCS (4). The other 3 games and same place finish as where the team finished i.e the lions came in 2nd so the other 3 ganes are against teams thst finished 2nd in their division ( cowboys, ravens and seahawks)
