I watched the near sack where Carr was injured a number of times. Irvin hit him with the right shoulder while he was in the process of passing the ball. It looked like a clean textbook tackle to me.
Welcome to the team where penalties are heavily fined and you end up playing basically for free. The only way to come out on top is to get to your second contract but Brad will have your cheap replacement by then.
This is the third time that Carr has left a game this season with an injury. He sprained the AC joint in his throwing shoulder in Week 3 against the Green Bay Packers and was put in concussion protocol in a Week 10 game against the Minnesota Vikings.
Yeah Irvin drove him into the ground on purpose. But you know what maybe this defense needs a bad guy, some one with a bad attitude like Suh. As long as they dont do it in crucial times . Put a hurting on a QB and they get happy feet which equals bad throws and turn overs. Just my opinion but I thinks this defense is a little to nice guy.
This really does show how bad the Okwaras, Harris and Cominsky have been that a guy, off the street and nearly 40 years old did more in a game than theyve done all year.
We are going to see some changes next year at this position.
