@Sofatso it looks like Monroe will probably have to shift over to safety with those testing numbers. Speed was my #1 concern with him, it’s gonna be tricky to stay outside with that.

Dane’s pretty low on a lot of beloved guys on here, Legette, Renardo Green, McCormick, Mo Kamara, Fiske, DeWayne Carter, Khyree, Jarrian Jones, Vaki, Trey Taylor…
I will say Dane is an admittedly conservative grader, preferring high floors to high ceiling (which is honestly safer and probably more in line with teams). He thus punishes outlier-y traits like age and and low-percentile measurables more than other draft guys.
All of the guys listed have something about their profiles that will have to be overcome, whether it be age (Khyree, Fiske), competition concerns (McCormick), less than ideal measurables (Kamara, Green, Carter, Taylor), or strange profiles (Legette, Jones, Vaki), to name a few.
I think he’s pretty dead on as a grader…
Khyree is a 5th
Green as a 4th is a bit low but he is a guy that could go in the back end of round 2
Vaki as a 6th… seems fair.
Trey Taylor as an UDFA I figured he was a 5/6 guy
Mo Kamara is a Day 3 guy
McCormick is a Day 3 guy
Fiske is round 2/3 guy seems right.
Legette/Polk round 3 grades… I mean these are guys we’ve been targeting for pick 61 since the seeason end. Seems right.

I generally like him, one of my faves really. I just know he’s gonna be conservative, so guys like Legette are gonna be lower. But I know that going in.
Khyree as a 5th is as low as I’ve seen him. That’s the one that stands out to me. The others are at least at the lower end of their typical range.
He has Tyler Davis NT from Clemson as a 6/7
That’s a steal if you ask me
I know you like him and Clemson DTs tend to pan out lately, but he’s really, really small for a NT skill set. He’s a NT in a 3T’s body. For his size he’s pretty good against double-teams, but he’s not all that great for a nose tackle. He does beat up single teams pretty consistently though, and his awareness against the run is top notch. But offers virtually nothing going forward. Honestly he’s pretty Benito-esque to me.

I think he’s pretty comparable to 4th rounder Cam Young last year or Akeem Spence former Lion NT also 4th rounder.

I just really struggle with Kneeland as a first rounder. But Dane has forgotten more about this stuff then I’ll ever know so 
Khyree in the 5th? Sure. At his age it’s possible.
McCormick on day 3 in this class of LGs? I don’t think so.
Kamala needs to go to Pittsburgh and then be a 13 sack guy four years from now.

Dane acknowledged that Green’s draft position is polarizing. I think he should be available at #73 and the Den will rejoice.
