Not on the list but should be. The run defense went to absolute shit. That killed us the past 2 months

Again I disagree with you, I think the majority on the board think Holmes has made a mistake, in fact I think most believe he has made multiple mistakes.

For me that is true, I also think his successes are more than his mistakes.

But the front 7 was actually quite healthy. Not having 2 good safeties definitely impacted run defense too though. The run defense might have been my biggest disappointment of the season. Went from a huge strength in 2024 to a weakness in 2025

For my uneducated view, loss of the safeties trickled to the play of the LB’s and more. All impacting the run defense.

now, we probably don’t get Branch back til end October(was his injury same timeline as McNeils?) early Nov and at what level of play?

I dont agree with decimated defense. It was healthier than last year and that team was better defensively imo.

A relatively healthy front 7 doesn’t suck so hard against the run compared to last year.

And Alim’s was an ACL, the achilles tear is IMO the worst injury a defensive back could have

AG defense sold out to stop the run and pushed to the QB. It left a lot of big passing plays because the CBs were on an island.

Sheppard defense was just bad.

1 Brad Holmes overvaluing his players. This set the season up for this out come.

2. Losing Frank it’s just hard to replace a guy of his calibur.

3. Not being able to stop the run. All these NTs and can’t stop the run. That shameful

4. Dan having to move to play caller, everything got worse all over with out captain Dan.

5. DC Shep the guy is learning on the job with no help.

BroMart was a mistake. More calculated risk that didn’t work out.

Dude going into the season like he did was a huge mistake he really believed in the guys he had, you know it’s true because the guy sat on 20 million he is the main reason we had this season
