I think both Barry and Spielman said it almost jokingly, but informing just in case because of the offense / defense thing.. I could be wrong, but Chris Spielman does not need to say, “I used to play linebacker here.” when talking to Jack Campbell.
Gibbs damn well knows who Barry is.
