In 1995, Jerry Rice also did it in 16 games with 1848 yards.
The only pre-1978 player is Elroy Hirsch in 1951 with 1495 yards in 12 games 124.583 yards per game.
Calvin had 122.75 per game–close enough–and the best in the Super Bowl era.
