I don’t believe he has ever been, “thrown away”.
MCDC called him, “Mr. Reliable”. I’ve been under the impression that it, “stuck”.
That fact, alone, tells me they communicate his worth to the team, and, their desire to keep him around.
My guess is that he will be coaching here when his playing days are done.

maybe two people believe in them in The Den, but millions of people around the world belive, the problem is that our Government made the comment that Sasquatch was a myth- so now there are just as many that don’t believe. yet the ironic thing is that they once claimed many things didn’t exist: gorilla , Giant Pandas, Giant Squid, Komodo Dragons, , Orr Fish , The Caelacanth (prehistoric fish) , Zebra , and many other beings, mammals , , but were later proven wrong. and at this state in the game? , they also know that Bigfoot exists, you won’t hear them admit it , bc THEY were the ones that claimed heatedly that they didn’t exist at first. But all that said , there are two warring parties in the Bigfoot world-those that believe vs those who don’t .

I have an 81 year-old friend who grew up in Toledo, Washington. He contends that a couple of guys from the village made oversize foot stamps to make impressions in the mud. That happened locally in the 1940s. After their prank sparked interest and questions, they replicated their prank in other areas, ultimately as far south as the Del Norte Redwood Park in Northern California. And the Legend of Big Foot spread across generations, probably with assistance of similar hijinx by other pranksters.
