Exactly… Dude has been very mediocre more often than not.
He does have the ability to extend plays and make some big plays downfield. But it’s pretty inconsistent. Sure hope that continues

Almost seems like the Packers get a free pass for being good for so long. The best players they have on offense and defense were brought in as FAs last year in Jacob’s and McKinney. Whats that tell you?

Hobbs has generally been good in the slot when healthy but not great at outside CB. That’s what I’ve heard from Raiders fans at least. He better be good on the outside or they need Valentine or Nixon to be a revelation at CB. Two of the three of those (or Hadden) in fact. I do think Haftley is an excellent coach who should be able to polish some turds to an extent but that is just a dreadful group of outside CBs. I bet there are 10-15 college teams with more talented outside CBs. And no I don’t think I’m being hyperbolic by saying that.

Let’s hope that’s accurate because GB will give up a ton of points if so. Nothing would delight me more with the exception of a Caleb Williams/Ben-a-dict Arnold meltdown in Chicago.
Go look at their depth chart. To be fair they do have three potentially average to plus nickel options but outside is quite barren.

I could see Green Bay finishing last in the division. With like an 8-9 record.
But would that be good? It would mean Chicago took a step, and Minnesota didn’t lose one. I am a tad nervous about Johnson getting Caleb to play with more discipline. For all of Caleb’s problems last year, he was not a turnover machine. Minnesota, on the other hand, still has a strong roster, and KOC won’t hang out JJ to make too many mistakes.

There’s a Swiss community in New Glarus, Wisconsin. Great beer and they have a William Tell festival every year, that’s some authentic Swiss cheese heads.
