He’s had multiple knee surgeries and is likely cooked. Then again we kept signing Moseley despite the same issue
Maybe it’s just me but he doesn’t seem like a Dan Campbell guy to me. He didn’t show an all out effort when I would watch Lions vs Cowboys games.

Who is our CB #2 on this team? We really don’t have much cap space (as compared to other teams) so it would be unlikely we sign anybody big.
Makes one wonder if the Lions are seriously concerned about depth.

Ive been crying about depth at cb for awhile.
Inexpensive roll of the dice. If there’s a 10% chance his knee is finally sound and he can ball out, then it would be a great signing. Dude can turn the ball over. We’ll see. It will be apparent whether he can go or not pretty quickly.

DJ Reed. That’s what he was signed to do. In NY, where I live, he was a rock solid #2 CB while the Jets had a young upcoming #1 CB in Sauce. Reed thrived in that role. I think the Lions were hoping to re-create that here with Arnold becoming their version of Sauce. Didn’t happen obviously but I think that was the vision.
If you have Reed as the #2 corner with Rake and Rock battling for the 3 and 4th spots on the depth chart - that would be a great look. However Arnold is a real loss and the top of the CB depth charts reflects it.
It’s not so much depth for me, it’s starting level talent. That’s where we have the giant hole in the roster.

Also, I think they want Diggs so he can wake up in a bathtub in a Wyandotte motel with Kirby’s bad knee on the counter and a youtube video on how to attach it to his bandaged leg…
