Yea but what about the rest of the season?
I went through the entire season.
On average. Only 7-10 games are actually watchable. (2 teams that are halfway decent in a power conference)
Only 2 games with good teams. (Top ~40) playoff implications.
The other 50+ games each week. 2 garbage teams. Or a good team with a double digit spread.
Thats the problem with CFB.
My goal is to be in Baton Rouge that day.

its ball. But so is D2 or FCS.
Like yes its entertaining. But is it GOOD? No.
Its like saying the WNBA is good vs NBA. Its not.
My whole point is imagine, the NFL, UFL and CFL were all merged and only 4 games each week featured 2 nfl teams playing. And 1 of those games involved something like the Dolphins,
So really only 3 good meaningful games. Thats my problem with college football.
its a 5 game season.
Any tope 25 or borderline top25 team has 7 auto wins and a bye. like could you imagine if all of the top teams scheduled their hardest games at the end of the season? Football wouldnt start till week 8. Week before Halloween.

Oregon v OKst z sure i guess
AZSt V Texas Am. Decent
Game 4 ummm Wash St, Kansas st? Maybe
Even “prime time”
Osu v Texas solid!
Iowa v Iowa St good
SDST v UCLA?
Texas Tech vs Org St?
Like it’s horrible.
Also back to the OP. To further my point. Those are the only 4 BIG games.
But what else is week 20? Michigan v Michigan St.
thats like the only other “watchable” game.
Im sorry i cant go from watching something like miami v ND then turn the channel to
Vanderbilt v Miss st and pretend like they arnt Completely different leagues
i’m really really curious about uofm this year. it’s crazy how harbaughs legacy is complete shit now considering when he was hired he was going to be the hometown hero.
I think they have a tough schedule, but the fact they got all of those talented Olinemen playing time as freshmen/sophomores & they’re now juniors/sophomores should make a pretty significant difference imo
