That was the best I have seen Raiola look so far. I’d have to say the best part of the game was seeing Dani on the sidelines. I think Akron just didn’t have the horses up front to compete. I am not looking forward to facing the Michigan running game. I think that one could get ugly.

He looked like a future #1OA pick. If he plays like that and they can control the game script and play with a lead to protect that DL they’re going to be a problem. Barney is a total stud btw. And I don’t mean the purple dinosaur although he’s studly as well.

Have you watched any of Utah OT Spencer Fano? I don’t know where he is being projected but from what I see he looks like a top half of the first round talent. This kid loves football and plays to the whistle every snap. I like this one!
I wish Raiola could run a little faster. It looks like we have some talent in the back 7 on defense. After 2 games Mccullough and Singleton have both looked good.
He moves better than last year but yeah better movement would be ideal. I think it’s functional enough. I think he could even drop another 5-10 lbs of weight and improve a bit more.
DM and Singleton have both played well. Not sure that I trust him a ton in coverage over the long haul but he has looked functional in that regard.
Aside from Wright, Shavers is their best defensive player. Nwanweri looked better in week 1 than week 2 but sky is the limit with that one.
Most have him as OT1 so you are in good company. Or perhaps many is more accurate than most.
