Their underclassmen talent is pretty amazing. TJ Lateef looks super talented as well.
I thought Lateef looked good at QB and he should see more action this week as well. If he looks good does that mean he is gone in December when the portal opens?
I have, yes, and most of the people I really respect have him as a top half of the 1st round tackle, so you’re right in line with them. His play attitude is so easy to like, and he’s a good athlete too. I hope he’s long enough to stick outside, but either way he’ll make a great lineman.
I actually think I might like Lomu better long term. Outside at least.
How about Illinois CB Xavier Scott? I was impressed with his coverage skills but after the game I learned they have 3 DBs with the last name Scott. It seems in recent years Illinois has been sending DBs to the NFL. Is Xavier the next one?
Yeah I’ve heard his name mentioned but haven’t watched him yet. They’ve definitely been recruiting better in the Lovie + Bielema era.
Yeah you’re not alone. I’ve heard it about 50/50. I think I’m still on the Fano side of things overall but Lomu is easier to say will for sure stay outside.

Not saying it wasn’t a great catch, it was, but man those sticky gloves make things a lot different from when we all used to play. Have you ever worn a pair of those? I feel like I’m having to shake off papers, coasters, cups and anything else I accidentally touch.
I wore them in the nineties. I imagine the stickum is stronger now. Everything is.
It’s vastly different, yeah. Not even stickum anymore, but like ultra tack and other cutting edge stuff. It’s wild.
Some of my college roommates had issues of Maxim that were probably like that.

I never actually bought a Maxim. Spending money on porn adjacent pursuits always seemed hyper inefficient.
Especially with roommates who would do it anyway. I never bought one either, but my brother - who I lived with in college - was basically a collector.
And then they would leave it on top of the reservoir of the toilet. Like why not just buy hand towels that say, “yeah, I just rubbed one out!”? Complete the aesthetic.

Although tbf, most of my roommates would not hide the fact that they just rubbed one out. They’d brag about it.
