Lost some of its luster when the Utah starting QB went down. Now it’s kinda lose-lose for us. Beat them and all anyone will say is they didn’t have their QB. Lose and we’ll have lost to a team without their QB. But they’ve still got a lot of talented players, and the new QB could be really good for all we know (it’s Zach Wilson’s little brother).

Important game for Nick Nash. Put out some nice tape against a recent power five team and his ascension likely continues.

Well I take it all back, it looks like their starter (Cam Rising) will play. Last I heard he was out for the year, but that was over a week ago. Guess the injury wasn’t as bad as they thought @CuriousHusker

For others this is what I was referring to.

Ok uofm fans. Got a question i havnt watched a ton of college football, cause ive been pretty busy on Saturdays, but are uofm players getting hurt a ton. Or any other college football teams banged up as much as msu?

UofM has been pretty darn healthy so far, although I did read some headlines about a couple injuries this week as they head into the USC game. I haven’t really read up on it as I expect them to lose to USC anyway, even without any injuries.

Such an interesting prospect. Talent to the moon. Played well in 2022 and playing well this year apparently. But an absolute dog sh’t year in between. Super talented kid. Poster boy for cornerback volatility I guess.

Sounds like Burke before last year. Stingley had some pretty bad years too, though I don’t know that any reached the level of dog shit. It’s a volatile spot, as you mentioned. Find one who consistently shuts down his man and you’ve found gold.

Msu has lost two og, 3 wr, and 2 db. Kinda seems very high for 3 weeks already

@CuriousHusker sorry about your boys losing last night, hell of a game till OT

I f@cking hate OCs getting cute. Sure it would have worked if Raiola throws it 18 inches less far. But you have 3rd and less than 3 with 3 minutes left. Your kicker is injured so you have a kickoff specialist in his stead. Your defense is clearly gassed with the Illini having had the ball for 17 of the last 23 minutes of the game and starting to impose their will with a 250lb and 235lb RB. Your RB is starting to where them down, is 230 and has averaged 4 per pop on the drive. You have a 235lb running QB that you can bring in if need be. Haarberg is a horse and runs a 4.55 you can bring in if need be. Run it twice. End the f$cking game. Kick a FG from the 6 with 3 seconds left.

Rhule is the right guy to get them to 9/10 wins but he will never do better than that there bc he’s one of the worst game coaches around. Now 1-6 in one score games in Lincoln. 2-20 in his career against top 25 teams. Great CEO and program builder but he’s a straight up inept game day coach whereas Bielema is terrific in that regard.

Nebraska got into a street fight and they blinked. Brett didn’t let the Illini do so.

I don’t think so, I know Moore is out for a while on the defensive side of the ball. I think one or two OL may have something but nothing major iirc.

Edit:
Forgot about Loveland, he is the big name that was dinged in some manner.

I’m more curious about Orji starting at QB than anything else today. He should have some running opportunities but can he pass the ball; accurately?
Other items to watch:
OL play, avg at best and that may be kind
Mullings needs to start and have the most carries
Tackling, can they start tackling again, it’s like they forgot how.

is Loveland healthy he was the one name that came up with a ding after last week or TX game iirc. (forgot about him in my response to @Martymcfly2017
