A buddy of mine called me today and said that Davis Warren has outplayed Orji the whole way.
He said “don’t be surprised if Warren starts tomorrow”. Though he also said that both will probably get alot of snaps.
Interesting.
I’ve heard the opposite, I did hear that Warren had a great day of practice this week. No inside info.
Just no idea, I suspect we will see both of them tomorrow night.
Maybe it was only great compared to what he had been showing.

Well, my guy did say that Orji has been awesome too, and he took huge steps this year. He just said Davis has been better.

Not really. I guess maybe in a rich people problems sort of way. It’s not stacked in a 2021 sort of way of course. But Stackhouse and Williams is a great veteran foundation and they have young dudes for days. Jordan Hall getting healthy would help but they will be fine. They’re Georgia.
I actually think their skill position players are a bigger question mark.

When they won the titles they had a dominant DL which made the LB’ers better etc. TBD if they have that this year, yes, it will be good but how good.
That’s fair. Their defensive talent has fallen back down to earth in general over the last few years. It’s still elite but that 2021 team was just absolutely insane. I think there were a couple Miami defenses back in the day that may have been more talented but that Georgia team was certainly up there.
I would be surprised if they don’t have a couple underclassmen emerge on their front 7. They just have too many bullets in the chamber with two good of coaching on that side of the ball. Their current offensive coaching I’m less sold on. Bobo is a significant step back from Monken IMO. Well everybody’s opinion except Mrs. Bobo.
