Multiple monitors is the best way to watch football every weekend.
I’m hitting Costco later today or tomorrow to check out what specials they have. They have come down in price tremendously.

# Conference title game and College Football Playoff scenarios heading into the final weekend`
Full article at Link

Snippetts from a few of the conferences, all conference scenarios at the link

If you’re looking to avoid potentially awkward conversations about politics and current events over Thanksgiving weekend, we have a suggestion: Hey, how about those Big 12 championship game scenarios?

The conference announced this week that 256 possibilities are still on the table.

You could turn it into a game: The first person to figure out how West Virginia makes it wins something!

The final weekend of the college football regular season is here (it goes so fast), and there are stakes everywhere.

The new 12-team College Football Playoff has added another thick layer of intrigue. Without going too deep down various what-if rabbit holes, here’s a user guide by conference to see what’s on the line during rivalry weekend.

ACC
SMU is in.
Miami win and in
Clemson win Miami loss Clemson is in

Big Ten (4)

It took a couple of days for the Big Ten office to nail it down, but No. 1 Oregon clinched a title game spot after beating Wisconsin.

No. 2 Ohio State will get a rematch with the Ducks, who beat the Buckeyes 32-31 in Eugene in October, if it beats Michigan. If the Buckeyes lose a fourth straight game to the Wolverines, Penn State gets into the title game by beating Maryland. Also, Godspeed, Ryan Day, in that scenario.

If Ohio State and Penn State lose to three-touchdown underdogs, Indiana goes to Indianapolis as long as it manages to win the Old Oaken Bucket game against Purdue. The Hoosiers are 28.5-point favorites.

CFP best-case scenario: The big four win this weekend, and then it’s just a matter of seeding on selection Sunday.

Big 12 (9)

The conference that promised balance and depth delivered big time.

Nine teams are tied for first or second place, with No. 16 Arizona State (9-2), No. 18 Iowa State (9-2), No. 19 BYU (9-2) and No. 25 Colorado (8-3) all at the top at 6-2.

There is a scenario where the Big 12 ends in an eight-way tie for first place and the championship game matches Baylor and Texas Tech. Trust us on this.

SEC (3)

No. 7 Georgia will play in the conference title game for the fourth straight season against the winner of No. 3 Texas at No. 20 Texas A&M. Simple.

CFP best-case scenario: Not so simple. First of all, the SEC needs to avoid the upset bug that befell the conference’s CFP contenders last week when three ranked teams lost to unranked opponents and left the league with only three teams in Playoff position.

It might be best if the Aggies win out, securing a bid as one of the five highest-ranked conference ch

MN vs WI and OkSt vs Co kicking off momentarily.
Hunter the Heisman winner at this point, imo.

I can’t believe how bad we’ve been this season. Easily the worst year in Gundy’s 20-year tenure.

Only down 50… There is still time.

# Wojo’s Pigskin Picks: Buckeyes crave vengeance vs. UM, but they’d better get it now before price rises
Full article at Link

The Wolverines have been accused of nefarious acts involving signs, Stalions and illicit burgers, and they’re paying for it. To make amends, they offered to give OSU their offensive play sheet, which looks something like this: Run, run, run, punt; Run, run, run, interception; Run, run, incomplete flea-flicker, 59-yard field goal.

I don’t normally give advice to Buckeyes because I hate repeating myself and sounding out the big words, but here goes: Don’t get comfortable with the three-touchdown-favorite status. They’d better exact their revenge now, before UM unleashes its full financial power to purchase Brutus Buckeye and rent him out for bachelorette parties. All the pressure is piled on the Buckeyes and a fandom that bases its self-worth on beating TTUN and owning a new septic tank.

The Buckeyes also are increasingly annoyed with Ryan “Blackbeard” Day, who could beat any team in America but tightens up against UM (1-3 record), top-five opponents (4-6) and snow flurries.

The folks down there are loaded for beer and girding their loins (legally). Their beloved Nuts haven’t beaten TTUN (Title Team Up North) since 2019, way back before Michigan finally got serious. The Wolverines expended so much energy seizing command of the rivalry with three straight victories, three straight Big Ten titles, three straight playoff appearances and one completely unblemished 15-0 national title run, they decided to take a break, like one of those college gap years.

” Michigan even appears capable of topping 100 passing yards in a full game.

When asked about UM’s 30-24 victory a year ago, Day called it “one of the worst things that’s happened to me in my life,” apparently even worse than living in Ohio. If he thought that was difficult, imagine losing to first-year head coach Sherrone “Less Is” Moore and a UM team likely headed to the Pinstripe Bowl. To the fans, he’d become Ryan “Day by” Day.

The Wolverines are trying a few of the Buckeyes’ tricks too. OSU reportedly spent $20 million in NIL (Not Into Losing) money on this year’s team. According to unnamed sources on message boards, the Buckeyes — and everyone in the SEC not named Vanderbilt — have been paying players for decades. Technically, it’s now legal, unless UM does it too well and Harbaugh wants back in.

UGA struggling in first half, down 10-0

Edit: 17-0

It’s gonna be wild when the first ever 12 team playoff doesn’t include Georgia or Alabama.

We will see how it plays out. I’m still not sold on the idea that spending the most money on players trumps team chemistry and culture.

It’s nice to see Michigan finally playing the game though.

True, but tonight isn’t offering much confidence in that ability

First time I’ve watched Dylan Raiola play. Dude is a baller. At least this game. Can make every throw.

I think that was probably the dagger in the heart for Georgia.

Yes. But they also smoked their likely oppenent in Texas.

SEC is a toss up week to week.

Would be odd if Alabama gets in because 2 Georgia losses.

@HSVLion your thoughts if that happens? I remember you mentioned didn’t want committee to penalize teams for havig championship game and loss perhaps.

Or not

WHAT?? Not going to 2
