Now…FINISH the story
I went here for lunch with my son on Sunday. Great selection of beers and the menu looked good. I wasn’t that hungry and I ordered 3 mini tacos. They tasted pretty good. I was basically doing work emails while drinking. The waitress was about 25 and cute as a box of kittens. When it came time to pay, she handed me a device to tip and pay. The button percentage started at 25% and went up to 40% and it also had a customize tip button. I customized it to 20%. I figured that’s more than enough since my tab amount was mostly beer costs. Its kind of awkward as they stand at your table and wait for you to customize the tip.
I drank a Spruce Willis from Mythmaker Brewing, Colorado | White IPA | ABV 6.0%
and two Pliny The Elders, Russian River Brewing Co, California | American Imperial IPA | ABV 8.0%

If your point of sale device shows me an option for a 40% tip I’m automatically going to custom down below whatever your minimum is just for being a f****** a******.
I understand the server didn’t program it but f*** you and your 40%. You know who gets 40%? Lawyers not f****** barmaids.

I’m going later this year for work, scout out the beer scene for me if you don’t mind. Extensive research would be appreciated, local beers only of course. Will save me some time and dollars.

Kona Brewing for sure. Plenty of other options in Kona and Waikaloa. Not sure if we get to Hilo or Honolulu though.

I rarely dine out, anymore. EVERYONE is so damn greedy…
Except @Nate. He hasn’t raised the subscription rate since he began offering a subscription.
How long has that been? Gotta be 5-6 years, now. Maybe, a rate increase is due? I’d happily go another buck or two.
