Chargers signed OL Oday Aboushi to a one-year, $1.75 million contract.

A career journeyman, Aboushi has played for five teams the last seven seasons. He made eight starts for the Lions in 2020, grading as the No. 26 rated guard out of 92 qualifiers at ProFootballFocus. With Forrest Lamp, Trai Turner, and Dan Feeney gone, Aboushi should step into a starting role on the interior with the Chargers.

It seems official: Big V will be the starting RG. Now we draft for depth.

This is what we were starting. If they don’t think Stenberg is starting material, it wouldn’t surprise me if they invest in OG. I doubt Vaitai is in their long term plans at OT or OG. Unless he studs out being healthy this year. Which I would suggest would be the more unlikely of scenarios.

Even if they view Stenberg as a real starter and/or backup, they STILL have to bring in another Guard. Campbell emphatically stated (and it’s clearly true) the the OL needs more players.
