The one I would make a priority is Jackson. If someone offers him a monster contract so be it but I’d like to keep our line intact as long as we can.

Morning wood is completely normal… be sure to walk it off. If it lasts more than 4 hours, seek medical intervention or think about Matt Millen draft picks… problem solved!

Are you paying Jackson that Lindstrom contract?

No. If someone offers him that level of contract you wish him the best and let him go. I’d only offer him that if he’s a Martin or Nelson level guard. Where you know he’s on his way to the hall of fame.

I’d love that too. But everyone is aware that Brad means business when he tells you his price point. And will part with love…

Wish I could. Been traveling in Asia since August. Being a Lions fan here means waking up in the middle of the night and ā€œwatchingā€ the Lions on Gametracker, while reading the Den’s in-game thread (thanks, everybody!) and later, watching game highlights on Youtube. Hoping at least to be in the hemisphere next season so I can watch some games live.

College football? No clue this year, but I want the best offensive lineman available (for our sake and to keep the Bears from getting him) unless a truly dominant defensive lineman is available at 6 (or the QB of the future is there). Then use draft capital if necessary to move up and get the top running back. Second round–linebackers who cause pain. Fourth or fifth round-- a kicker to compete with Badgely (any out there?). That’s all I’ve got.

Where abouts in Asia? I did that for many years when I lived in SK, Lions games started at 3am. And yes I got up to watch a lot of them, Mondays at work were rough.

Love this dude.

I think Anzalone is the new Kevin Bacon. EVERYONE is connected to him.

Did he play with Anzalone at Florida? I know he did in New Orleans.

The way he’s managing the cap, we will be in ā€œwin nowā€ mode for the next 10-15 years

They were on the 2016 team together, CJ’s 1st year there, AA’s last.

He knew Houston, too.

I’m really impressed how Holmes reads the market and grabs players on the cheap.

Don’t overreact, not trying to piss in anyones koolaid. But, I just noticed CGJ has missed 10 games the past 2 seasons. That may have been a real factor in him not getting the huge contract he was looking for.

He’s played in 24 of 34 games the past 2 seasons. Outstanding production though, 9 ints in those 24 games.

He’s gonna be teaching them how to get to the next level of ā€œrealnessā€
Shit is about to get very, very, VERY real.

Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, Vietnam, India during the season. Oman, Qatar, Saudi and Jordan since. American football is unknown in most of those places. I couldn’t even watch the Super Bowl–my choice on Super Bowl Sunday was between watching cricket or women’s tennis.
Can you watch all the games on a military base?

ā€œIt’s the next step for me…it’s not about football anymore…it’s about being a better person…about being a leader…it’s about being a better manā€
Love him. Part of me wishes he was here long term.

If he balls out this year, maybe he will be a long term answer.
