Per an article I read earlier 50%+ of Bears season ticket holders are within 20-25mi of the proposed stadium.
Plus covered stadium adds in multiple new opportunities that Soldier field wouldn’t.

I hate the bears as much as the next guy, but one cool thing is the nasty weather stadium. If they do go dome, I guess I’ll have to dislike them even more.
25 miles away from where they were? -yeah there moving-chit if I picked up and moved 25 miles away from here (Millington, Michigan) East of Birch Run, I’d be living in: Flint, in Goodrich, in Montrose, In Grand Blanc -or sum chit…but I would-have damn sure MOVED.
NW Suburbs are where the money is for sure so I don’t doubt this.
When I lived in St. Charles IL and would go to Soldier Field to watch the Lions come to town, the whole experience was about the same level of hassle as was driving from Grand Rapids to the Pontiac Silverdome to watch a game…and took almost as long to get there.

Stepdaughter now lives in McHenry. 1900 a month rent for 1 br 680 sqft+ fees and utilities. 90 minutes from Mag Mile/Museums//Palmer House/Soldier Field.
Can confirm the $ is in NW burbs. Naper’s Uncle Julio’s gonna get dusted by the one in AH. Love that place. Now go get a Pappadeux’s and I might move up by her in Fox River, where I found an actual operating Dog-N-Suds drive in on the IL/WI border…
