That’s a lot of dough for kicking a football. Nice gig if you can get it. These other guys have to worry about CTE and this guy’s biggest worry is what’s for dinner tonight.
There’s a group of people that are gonna be upset. They wanted him fired.
Dude is a beast.
Yeah well, I guess you just can’t please everyone
I applaud the young man
Imagine how many kitchens you could buy for your wife with that kind of money.
It was all so silly. I disagree with his perspective but strongly believe he has a right to say it without vocational consequences.
Georgia Tech is a really good school too. That was such a strange speech for a commencement. He might not get invited back.

I’m naturally cynical but still surprised at times by our depravity. The reactions to his speech feed my cynicism.
Very happy for him, mostly for reasons that don’t belong on this board.
One thing’s for sure, in this country, you will never have to worry about going hungry.
I may be missing something and if so I’m sorry but I don’t believe he gave his speech at Georgia Tech. I believe he gave it at a smallish Catholic college in Atchison Kansas. Again probably missing something but I think that is what I heard.
Both I think…according to Wikipedia.
Ok I knew I was missing something I didn’t realize he played for Georgia Tech. I knew his speech was at Benedictine College in Atchison because I remember being shocked that there was.a college there.
Reminds me of the chocolate cake scene in Matilda
