Traded to the rams for the rams pick at 29, a 5th rounder, a 6th rounder and a 2027 3rd round pick
for a Slot CB
damn

Heās a slot stud though. I would have loved to be able to add him, but we clearly didnāt have the ammo. That is really gonna help the Rams.
As a rams fan I approve.
goddamnit, I donāt want the Rams to be better
Going all in for staffs last year, dont blame the move at all
F dem picks
This is JSN motivated
Oh 100 percent, they saw that man win OPOY and said never again
Same. Rams are right there.
If we can get the OL fixed, Iām not nearly as concerned
Wonder what his extension looks like⦠Big move for the Rams
Thing is though
Chiefs have this weird power where they send out their corners in the last year of their rookie contract and they magically lose their ability to cover
Ljarius snead being a recent example.
Donāt think it will happen to McDuffie tbh
Great trade for both teams tbh. The Chiefs doing exactly what they should do, loading up on picks to extend the SB window and the Rams get a big boost for the remaining Stafford year(s). That Rams roster is absolutely loaded.
I know everyone will say the Rams āmortgaged their futureā but everyone has been saying that for years. They just keep on chugging. They are, once again, loaded.
Iāll take Roger Mcreary from
The Rams
Thank you
Well they did mortgage their future, but they absolutely crushed the part of the process when they had to take their medicine and were able to rebuild on the fly with paltry resources. Very few teams come out of it so well, and in fact I doubt the Rams would if they had to do it again.
But essentially 2022 and 2023 were a reset, and yet they managed to come out of it with Puka Nacua, Kyren Williams, Kobie Turner, Warren McClendon, Davis Allen, Cobie Durant, and Quentin Lake. That is a REMARKABLE haul of day 3 picks over the course of two years (well Turner went 89th, so very late 3rd, but the rest were day 3).
I mean their starting tackles now are a 5th rounder (McClendon) and a UDFA (Alaric Jackson). Nobody does that, like, ever.
Kc is going to be active during the FA period. They already saved money up with the reconstruction contract of mahomes.
I was going to make a smart ass comment about this move but Iāll save you guys the frustration of having to read it.
I think you guys can figure out what I think of this.
They have no future, their future is now with their 38 year old QB, great trade for them. It also helps that theyāre a great drafting team so they can still add big pieces to the roster without high picks, basically what Brad Holmes used to be and hasnāt been recently.
They traded out the 1st round last year and got a high 1st this year which might have been one of their best transactions.
They really have killed it
Nailed it and they have premium draft capital this year still
