Nick has updated his compensatory picks to include estimates based on 1st week snap counts. He now has us slated to get a 5th for Zeitler, (same as as discussed here before). Iffy played 68% of the snaps the first week and currently needs to average about 30% per game for the year to qualify. So even if he plays 68% for only half the season, he should still qualify to cancel out the Lopez signing and allow us to get a 5th for Zeitler.

I’m not going to get my hopes up yet. I didn’t watch the game so I don’t know how well Iffy played but I think some heads are going to roll on that Dolphin defense after letting Daniel Jones score on every possession. I hope Iffy is not one of those heads.

Thankfully their depth chart is pretty thin at safety, since it turns out Ashtyn Davis sucks. Of course they could always add to it, the vet safety market is almost always the best FA market at this time of year.
5th rounder? I wonder which Hall of Famer Brad will draft with that pick.

Pretty sure we should draft nothing but lineman in the next draft. I know what two words Brad would say to that, and it makes me angry.
I would say DE, OT, C, and a TE that can block. It don’t seem that hard to fill those positions until you start filtering them out for character issues that don’t meet our criteria.

Not yet but I will because I want to see the edge rusher from Auburn as well. I do like the center from Oregon. Hopefully it’s a good class for Cs and we can get one outside the first round.

What do you think of him ? I’ve just started checking him out , seems like a good player and fit, I wonder about his size some. Also like Jake Slaughter , like his size better seems closer to a Rags. But he doesn’t move like Lew.
Hopefully Tate develops into the Center role this year and next offseason, I really dont want unexpected Lineman to start next season again.
