He’s breaking the record at some point this year.
Then Aubrey will probably break it again. These two guys are gonna go back and forth. Some serious legs in the league right now.
This cat will break his own record a few times before its all said’n’done this year.
I’m for whatever it takes to get Tucker and his limp Dick 66 yard, hit the crossbar, field goal out out of the record books.
I’m really impressed by Bates after his struggles with accuracy in all off season. He did miss one PAT but is perfect at FGs. Looking forward to his record kick.
cat had a pretty sweet tackle too
73 yards?
That would be classic Dan. This guy just loves to go for it!
I’d probably love playing Texas holdem with him.
Dan Campbell with a pair of 2’s…all in. ![]()

What the article left out was Dan saying the risk wasn’t worth it at that point and that particular situation in the case of a block. With the long-distance kicks comes low trajectory.
So, Dan’s risk taking appears to be really tempered more than before because of the stronger opponents and the importance of every win in a Super Bowl run season.
Not taking FG against Tampa cost them a win. Dan is growing as a coach. How awesome is that? The gambler is not gone but he’s getting more strategic about where and when.
It’s also roster growth. A lot of the risks Dan took is because he felt he needed to with past teams. The more talent we have the less he takes risk’s because he knows he doesn’t need to.
This is something that id love for him to try in an end of half situation when the stakes are low. Beats a kneel down and just remember to cover the return.
