I get what you are saying, but on the other hand we don’t get this far without Dan Campbell. He is the heart and soul of this team. I guess I’m willing to take the good with the bad and just hope he learns from his mistakes.

Yeah, he’s an emotional guy so get used to seeing it more. Maybe you want a more robotic coach who doesn’t care as much? I don’t know, that’s up to you.
Me personally? I’m riding with the coach who has led this team to the best two year stretch in Lions history and I’m not going to shit all over him if he gets emotional after a tough loss, while also taking the blame.

Guys! Enjoy that we have a young talented team that is just beginning their long playoff run. It takes talent and alot of luck to win a Super Bowl. We didnt have the luck this year. Last year we did. They blew it in the 2nd half of the 49ers game. Hopefully next year we got some luck to go with the talent, some

He’s sad now…just wait until he watches the replay of the game and Brady was screaming for 10 secs that there were 12 men on the field on defense and that he needed to call timeout…he’ll be even more sad.

Again, who is praising the tears? They’re just whatever to most of us.
I just hope there isn’t a huge let down for next season after all this team went through and the hugge let down. So much adversity and emotion. Can they attain that high of a level of buy in again no matter what? It’s going to be a challenge.

The coaches deserve half the blame… 12 men on the field… Going away from Gibbs when your QB is clearly making bad decisions and Monty was ineffective… Letting Jamo throw a pass when you know damn well he doesn’t have the maturity to throw it away if it isn’t there… All bad coaching. Goff is the other half, he had a terrible game.

This IS the best it’s been in a very long time but we must demand MORE!
As Jaded has correctly pointed out (in my opinion) we can’t lose at Home to a big underdog like we did last night. It’s depressing as hell.
Now what? Now what, is this team needs to elevate even higher and get this long suffering fanbase a Super Bowl trophy.

I love watching the game and picking up on how much Tom is pulling for us. He was genuinely irked by the obvious coaching and playing gaffs as they were occurring.

Dude even Packer and Vikings fans were mostly rooting for us. I have MANY friends in Wisconsin and they all were

Some of us saw this coming 20 weeks ago unfortunately. The team far outplayed my expectations by going 15-2, and while it sucks bad now, I’ll be just as excited to see what’s next… as I was to watch every game with family and friends.
We needed to do more in the offseason and the draft by a fair margin.
Def the most interesting offseason for us in good while
likely losing both coordinators, but the core is still in place.
I trust Brad, he got us to being back to back division winners, and i trust him to build the team right.

But the defense is top 5 without the injuries.

Yes, the coaches wee part of the issue last night.
But damn it, the players shit the bed more. How many false start penalties did we have? Goff was late on the pick in the end zone. Goff also fumbled. Pick six thrown.
The defense allowed almost 6 yards per carry to RBs. Unacceptable. Shades of the 2023 Panthers game.
Past that Glenn had a poor night. The long WR screen featured a Branch blitz from that side. That left two Commander blockers and only Kerby to beat. A quick pass eliminated Branch’s blitz.
Our players didn’t elevate their game. And our coaches were out coached. I do think the interviews hurt the focus of the team.
Dan should be emotional as he played a role in this failure. Like the Bucs loss at home. The Lions first three offensive plays set the tone (like the Buffalo game). Look…when they kicked off to us Reynolds was sometimes tackled BEHIND the 20 yard like!! Unprepared for blocking on kickoff returns. Unprepared when blitzing on defense. Play calls were uneven. Sometimes brilliant sometimes way too cute.
Dan has to do better. Still a great season but this loss hurts.
