Yup, the AP Coach of the Year is the most prestigious one. Everyone and their brother is giving out awards and naming all-pro, all-rookie, all-NFC etc teams right now for clicks and likes, but the AP awards, which the NFL endorses by including them in the NFL honors ceremony, are the only ones anyone really cares about. The ceremony this year is February 8th, three days before the Super Bowl.

I never knew that was Rob Reiner.
People were way too quick to write him off as a meathead. I mean he is kind of a meathead, but he also had experience as an interim head coach in Miami and as a coordinator for Sean Payton. Brad Holmes saw a bright young meathead and made the right choice.
Holmes didn’t choose Dan Campbell, the Lions had already come to that conclusion and Brad agreed after he took the GM job.
