Dan Campbell postgame comments is a problem

The one year stuff is nonsense, excuse generation bullshit.

They got their ass kicked today and Sunday, didn’t show up defensively at LA, lucked out against a Raiders team that had given up, and got humiliated at Baltimore.

People can see whatever they want to see, but I’m seeing a team that looks far closer to 5-6 than 8-3.

I do think that will be the area this offseason. He has slowly built this team up. It was a rough looking roster when Brad came in

■■■■, if I’m him, I’m taking the Texas A&M job after watching the film and seeing Brad in the backroom playing COD trying to “owm plebs”.

He shouldn’t tell anyone, not within the organization, anything.
It doesn’t matter what he says. It matters what he and the team do.
Lots of bad play.
4 turnovers, to 0 turnovers. It really is that simple.

I bet Dan is taking into account the information from that post here from a week or two ago where it compared teams defensive ratings to the amount of money spent on the defense. We have bottom 3, maybe the lowest, amount of money spent on our defense and yet were middle of the pack in defensive rating. Basically our defense has been overachieving compared to what we have spent on it. He prolly expects more from our offense compared to defensive based on how our money is allocated. We are going to have to spend more next year on defense to keep up.

Some Jared Goff quotes:

“Gotta take care of the ball better when scrambling. My job to take care of the football.”

“I’m behind what I believe is the best group (OL) in the league… Those guys (Packers) just rushed really well.”

“Turnovers in first half are putting us behind. Not up to our standard.”

“Trust the hell out of him (Dan) when making calls. Most of the time he’s right. When he’s not, it’s up to them to pick it up and make the plays.”

Sure, but between the draft and this FA window, all Brad did was add Bromart, who isnt even playing. I cant logically find my way to make an excuse for such GM ineptitude regarding the DL…and I’ve love alot of what Brad’s done, but there’s no excuse for his ignoring of the DL. The DL wasnt even questionable…it was a MASSIVE ■■■■■■■ PROBLEM. and he did nothing.

It’s really staggering to look at how bad Brad has been with the DL. He hit on Hutch, which I’m not going to dog for being gifted because he still has to make the pick, and McNeill. But Levi, Paschal, BroMart…man, that’s 3 Day 2 guys who contribute next to NOTHING. That’s a lot of investment to get no production out of.

very similar to brett veach and the WR issues with the chiefs

Skyy Moore, Justyn Ross, Rashee Rice, a 3rd for Kadarius Toney, and MVS

Put in significant resources and its been abysmal in terms of production

Goffs struggles should be our only concern. We can add pass rush, secondary guys but if Goff is not the guy then we have some MAJOR decisions coming up.

But with both teams

i do think its a coaching issue (Outside of Levi, hes cooked Injury wise, Paschal, jury is out on a little bit rn, but its not looking the best)

Then they should look at ways to make sure he doesn’t get pressured on 50% of his drop backs.

Well Dan didn’t actually watch any Film yet but it’s concerning to play this shitty for a few weeks now.

Lots of qbs deal with pressure, the last two games have showed us that he is back to turtling under pressure. I don’t know why but if this is what happens when he gets pressured he is not the guy. It can’t expected to have the best oline for Goff to be effective

And you can “get pressure” all you want but if you never get to the QB it’s not going to be anywhere near as successful as it should be.

We’ve had a small ounce of success and somehow Brad can’t be questioned. It’s ■■■■■■■ absurd and I’m sick of this shit here. We haven’t won a playoff game with Brad and Dan. Until they do, we can say anything we want about their shit decision making, like over investing in turds.

I think he’s saying that’s how they’ve played over the course of the season and he still believes in those groups.

The interior of the OL was a real issue.

Branch looked exhausted he’s trying to carry that defense.

Our DL is sporadic, they lost containments multiple times and they’re not collapsing the pocket.

Ultimately we’re losing at the LOS.

Wouldn’t expect Dan to unload on his team right after the game? But after he watches the film I expect some changes. We’ve moved the coaching staff around mid season every year he’s been here. The after game press conference is great after a win, pretty useless after a loss imo.

Eeesh, gonns make @BigNatty have the sads…

I dont expect him to unload on the team in public, but I didnt love his “meh, need to clean things up/it’s on me” presser…show some anger or even the opposite in annoyed despondence, instead he looked Lionized; I’ve ■■■■■■■ seen it for the last 50+ years…and Dan had that look
