I feel like this is the biggest game of Dan’s career since 2022’s Panthers loss. That is, a non-playoff/non-division clinching game. The Lions had crept to 7-7 that year with three games to ho. A real shot at making the playoffs. We lose that game but we beat the Bears and Packers to close the season. Huge Panthers L that really sucked.
This game feels bigger than that game. By far. Lose and the Playoffs are likely out. Win, get a vibe back and who knows what is possible.
there isn’t a poster here that does not want that 8/5, but the team and it’s leaders have to man the hell up and take it , the team has to fight and claw to earn it. enough of the excuses, sadness, blame, pain, and small-dick effort, DECIDE the time is now to return to the damn threat you ARE as THE LIONS, this is it, everybody is watching and wanting to know , your not going to lose-your not going to give up when it starts to go South, your going to fight HARDER. Show your not going to be pushed around or OUT of YOUR Playoff, Show them your here to beat the hell out of any team put before you ! BE The PRIDE again! 313 of Detroit City- nobody going to beat me. Just DO IT!
Right Boyd. 3 out of 4 road games to close the season. Gotta win this one then go 3-1 minimum the last 4 games. End maybe 4-1 making Detroit 12-5. Do that and this team is in the hunt and could still have a very solid season.
11-6 is absolutely getting in. To assume everyone in the hunt finishes strong is crazy. 10-7 and you need quite a bit of help. But if this team gets to 10-6 going into Chicago in week 18 that’s going to be for a playoff spot. Chicago is not going to keep winning against good teams ugly.
