Yeah I’m not buying Skipper’s story on that one. The Lions clearly were attempting to confuse Dallas, and have admitted as much. That doesn’t excuse the blown call, but Skipper should just stop talking now.
To me this tracks. The play was for Sewell and Decker to confusion. Not Skipper. To me it looked like Skipper was just gesturing for a substitution
This article says it all. I’m over it, because the NFL isn’t going to do a damn thing ever to fix these type of issues. The satisfaction will be all the greater when the Lions are standing on the podium holding the Lombardi.
