Darnold to Seahawks

Yessss

Definitely tampering but still sweet

Vikes are rolling with JJ. I think that definitely puts us ahead.

I understand their logic, but to expect them to make Darnold a top QB and then develop a rook on the heels of that in the same way is a big ask.

I think Seattle would have been better off keeping Geno Smith and drafting a QB of the future. If they decide to go that route though they should be able to offload Darnold’s new contract without too much trouble.

Adam Schefter reported Darnold will earn $110.5 million with $55 million guaranteed

I mean, good for Sam. A lot of us thought he’d be lucky to get a $10m guarantee.

In the end the Vikes needed to move on, you can’t have a healthy JJ sitting or starting because the minute Darnold falls, and he will, then everyone is wanting JJ. And if JJ starts with a similar outcome then Darnold is the one they want. JJ can’t have that kind of pressure hanging over him and BTW I believe the Vikes probably picked up an extra pick out of the deal as well.

It’s all tampering brother… 50 top free agents signed within 90 mins of the period opening.

Most of these deals were done weeks ago. Only a fool would believe those deals happened randomly today when the sun came up. Lol

If Darnold hadn’t blown up in the last 2 games he gets 150 million. Seattle has a pretty easy out next season if he doesn’t play well. I like JJ but Vikings ain’t winning 14 games next year. Of course I didn’t it last year either so what the hell do I know lol!

Vikings were and are well coached, they won a lot of close games. If they beat us he’s maybe COTY. JJ isn’t a rookie and sitting and watching is a plus but obviously there’s nothing like live action. The North is going to be fun if you like watching good football, optimistic because I believe in who we are but this is going to be a wild season.

I actually thought KOC won COTY……which absolutely should have went to Dan Quinn. JJ is a rookie in every sense of the word coming off that injury. But I agree the Vikings are very well coached team and will be good.

I think seattle needs to spend a lot of draft picks on oline or Darnold will be seeing ghosts again.
