Day 2 Best Available FRIDAY

Probably go JTT. Is that the obvious pick? I mean he had 12.5 sacks this year for a big time program. You know they watched a lot of Ohio State tape. Shoot go JTT in 2nd and Jack Sawyer in 3rd

No chance he makes it to us, too much of a pipe dream or no?

I feel like JTT needs to drop to about 50 for us to make it realistic for us to move up.

I’d love JTT, Femi or Swinson. Shoot, I’m still holding out hope that Scourton is a Lion at heart, despite the knocks on his play at A&M.

I’m also 100% convinced there’s somebody on their board that distracted them from celebrating the Williams pick. Either that or the footage they showed on TV of our war room was from minutes before our pick while other teams were on the clock. Assuming Jihaad was off our board, there’s someone they’re very high on sitting there still.

Yeah probably but who knows. Could always trade up too

Sanders is the best player on the board and it’s not close. There will be documentaries made on him slipping in the draft after he lights the NFL on fire.

High football IQ, next level toughness, extremely accurate, hard worker, student of the game. This is not a Johnny Manziel situation. Shedeur is the real deal and will make teams pay in a big way.

The Lions won’t take him. I would love the Lions to end up with Landon Jackson. I think he’s going to be a real player in the league and is just scratching the surface.

Great idea, I’m all for trading up to target JTT

Trey Lance is not a good comparison to Sanders.
Totally different QB’s.
Plus Lance hadn’t played a lot of football.
He played one full season of D2 football.
He was drafted strictly on physical traits.
Sanders doesn’t have impressive physical traits.
He isn’t big, fast, or possess a big arm.
He is more Jarred Goff than Trey Lance.

I agree the best situation is not being asked to start right away (as it is for 99% of rookie QB’s) and to get selected by a better team.

Fixed it.

Hope Saints get him ,

They’ve got the IOL to let him step up in the pocket

For pure pass rush gas … that’s my guy. And he plays far more violent than his size would imply. I’d love him at 102. I was fine with him at 60 but the pro day gives me concerns about how his conversion to SAM stuff. But as a 20 snap per game flame thrower sign me up.

Lol. His tape says he is a top 15 prospect. He isn’t being drafted because of other reasons.

So over 28 TD’s passing and no int’s had nothing to do with it, because that’s what you are saying.

Gut says they’re eyeballing a WR before the run on WRs starts.

And was also undefeated.

BUT— He did look like the HallmarkTV version of actor playing Patrick Mahomes.

So you are both right

I noticed that as well.
There were no smiles, hugs, backslaps, whooping or hollering that we have become accustomed to from Brad on his picks.
It looked like ā€œDamn, I guess we have to take Williamsā€.

There are a lot of good Edges still remaining for tonight.
Even a WR could be selected.
But with all those 6 visits you got to think if Femi is on the board Brad takes him, if he doesn’t move up first.

I thought the same thing at first…now they are spinning it like ā€œoh we are so relieved our guy was there we thought we were going to lose him to ATLā€

I can’t imagine we were holding out hope for Donovan Jackson after the OL went so early we knew he would be gone.

Can’t imagine we were holding out hope for James Pearce turd.

Nolan & Harmon were long gone.

I’m guessing we were PISSED about not getting that 1st rounder in 2026 from ATL that Rams got.

He leaned into Dan, talking with his hands, imagining and sharing how things could be setting up.

They’re locked onto someone. A few of his answers last night fueled that suspicion, too.
