My guess is, especially since we know for certain that this injury didn’t occur during a football activity, you’ve got potential HIPPA violations for disclosing anything. If a player gets hurt during a football activity, the team has to disclose it for fairness cough gambling cough purposes. However, since this injury was not football related, the team bears no responsibility and the only person who could disclose it is Manu, and we know that isn’t happening.
Yea we will probably never know the truth. And the guy sucked but funny to me how the nfl covers up all this shit.
Haven’t really heard about him in camp. Often injured, on a 1 year prove it deal, and the youngsters were playing better than him anyway.
0$ cap hit, no guarantees. If he had worked out, GREAT, if not, nothing lost. Obviously, he did not work out, 0 cap charge.

To me this was a worthy shot. It cost us nothing, and he was a former 1st round pick with talent who was only cheap BECAUSE of his injury history. If we could have squeezed a healthy season out of him it likely would have been FAR better than any young buck’s for a similar cost, alas, we weren’t.

I’m just glad our boy Hassassain showed out and took his spot anyways even if he did stay healthy.
Hopefully Lacy makes a jump and the new guy West gives us something too

Maybe just don’t sign former oft injured 1st round Saints picks anymore. Just a thought
Anyway, the Lions actually have some defensive line depth for a change so this is no big loss.

Really intrigued by O’Neill, every time I’ve seen him he’s living in the backfield. I have a feeling that he might be claimed if the Lions cut him so I wonder if he makes the final 53, coach Dan has spoken highly of him.
