Probably Sorsdal on the left. Not that Sewell can’t do it, but his footwork and everything has been repped so many times on the right side. Unless it gets down to critical status, they will probably keep on the right.

I’d be moderately surprised if he plays after 1 day of practice. No idea how Houston operates regarding players returning after injury, but he’s been off 4 works. I would think he’d need some time to reacclimate into the offense, timing, etc. Even if he does play, I wouldn’t think it would be a full compliment of snaps.

Regarding Collins, this poster over on the Texans board is pretty well respected from what I can gather. He’s the go-to person for injury opinions on their board (believe he’s an Orthopedic Surgeon). Here’s his input on Collins. Also thinks (based on another post) he needs at least 1 week of practice (including one full contact/padded practice) before returning.
As for Anderson, he slowed down the replay vs. the Jets, and feels it’s either a high ankle sprain or possibly something to do with the MCL. Salt to whatever suits your taste.
I’ve been hearing all week that Nico will suit up. So that’s what I’m expecting. How effective will he be is the question.

Skipper has never started a regular season game at either left or right tackle. Zero. Has a few starts at guard though.
In fact neither Sorsdal or Manu have ever started at tackle either. Hopefully Decker can play.
Sewell does have 10 starts at left tackle to go with his best Right Tackle in nfl resume.
maybe exhibition games? thought i saw him there for a few snaps. maybe it was manu.
i actually think its more fun to win games without your full team. makes everyone feel a part of things, and the other team can’t whine about their injuries so much. very confident in our depth and how these coaches employ their players. let decker sit out, no problemo.

Oh preseason games for sure they all played a lot of tackle.

I don’t know where you’re hearing that but I think that’s extremely unlikely. Like 5% chance.
Decker is out on our side, and Anderson is out on their side. My guess is Sewell over to LT and Sorsdal at RT
I think it will probably be Skipper.
Sorsdal has been inactive almost every game.
Skipper has been the swing tackle all year.
Now he will have to play tackle in a real game.

I don’t think skipper has the bend to play LT. he’d get beaten often by speedier guys. If it’s him he’ll be on the right so the QB can see the guy coming. IMO
