Gotta see the specifics, but Iād guess that Brad will have a lot of wiggle room in the contract for 2027, when Decker is 34.
And itās so different from 2021 when Stafford wanted to escape the Lions to find success. Decker is highly motivated to stay with our renaissance still unfolding. Stafford just arrived at the Lions too early or Dan and Brad arrived too late.

Alim is only 24 years oldā¦hasnt even hit man-strength yet. He is not only a beast, but a true professional. Shedded weight because it was needed, he is the strongest player on the roster.

I think that contract will look mighty good soon here if he stays healthy. With Wirfs and Darrisaw coming up Tackle market is about to be reset. Not that Decker is at their level but I still think by 2026 his annual salary looks rather paltry.
