I understand your reasoning. I agree edge is our #1 need but I draft players not position. I think Zabel, Cooper, Grant might be our best options with who is left.

I’ve been drinking American honey and I don’t even remember that. I don’t expect a lot of people to support Zabel or Booker this year but Booker is the best player available and Zabel is probably the best fit going forward. A case could be made for Grant to replace Reader next year but I think a guy like Jay Toika later could have the same impact.

I think they would be stupid to pass on Will Johnson, they gave up a fortune to get Ramsey a few years back. If he is not there I could see Banks to protect Stafford. Banks could even slide inside to OG this year just to protect Stafford. Protecting him is there path.
I really like the big arm QBs and Dart can throw dimes 40 yards downfield, But he folds in crunch time. I think it was against S Carolina he turned it over 4 straight times for their chance to get in the playoffs. I think I would still take him over Sanders.
I like the idea, however, don’t think we need to have the QB group included in the first round poll.

I doubt the draft plays out like this, but if it does, i 100 percent seeing the Lions trading up for someone in the low 20’s like last year
espically if Harmon is up still.

I think this first one will go pretty fast, and I think Grant will be the runaway winner so don’t worry about it too much. The 2nd rounder is gonna be the headache-inducer. One vote seems fine to me.

Love UM but I do not think Grant will be a great pro. UM IDL have not done well in NFL. Playing next to Graham has allowed Grant to shine more than he would have otherwise.
