Detroit gets PWHL team

The Professional Women’s Hockey League awarded Detroit a team next season. Looks like they’ll be playing home games at Little Caesar’s arena and will be owned by Illitch Sports + Entertainment, who of course own the Wings and Tigers (and LCA).

I’m not usually into women’s sports, but women’s hockey is kinda sick. Let’s hope Detroit can grab Abbey Murphy in the draft (no idea how they’re choosing draft order for expansion teams):

Maybe we can have a winning hockey team in Detroit

Wow to the 2nd pic but the top pick looks like her head is photoshopped onto some nhl players body.

I guess it could be but I do know that at one time she was a goalie. Though as Davicus points out she wasn’t a very good one.

I would certainly watch her whether she is good or not.

That is one of the things I like most about baseball. When a guy is built like Kirk, and can be as good as he is it makes the dream feel more achievable. I don’t really care about other teams players unless I have them in fantasy but I would never turn away from a Kirk at bat. It’s just fun to watch.

This is what we used to call slipping one in past the goalie. That also referred to the preggers.
