Got some Minny intel maybe?!
“Here son, here’s 75 grand. Tell me everything you know!”
I’d rather we would’ve just given Indy the 4th for Buckner
That could be money well spent, if the only thing it does is make the Vikings second guess themselves. He was cut on August 24th, so there won’t be any fresh info.
I agree
on this. I’ve read a lot of posts on this board, but this by far hits on everything I feel.
This got me to thinking whether one of the DTs roster spot is in jeopardy. The Lions have added Jeffrey M’ba, Aidan Keanaaina, and Taki Taimani–all of whom project inside, not on the edge.
Then, I took a look at the snap counts for the season and what I saw was a little surprising:
McNeill: 363–81.57%
Tyleik: 231–51.91%
Skyler: 202–45.39%
T. Lacy: 150–33.71%
Levi O: 73–16.40% and none on STs.
Then I took a look at production for the backups:
Lacy has 2 solos, 4 assists, 1 TFL, 3 QB hits
Levi O has 1 assisted tackle on the season–nothing else.
I’m wondering if there’s a level of dissatisfaction with Levi O’s performance–so much so, that the Lions are looking for someone who could take his roster spot.
Could be.
They’ve been looking for a Levi replacement for awhile.
First drafting Wingo, now Gill-Howard, who both project as similar play styles to Levi.
Could also be looking ahead to next year if they let Levi walk, trying to find some usable (and cheap) depth ahead of time.
