Detroit Lions vs. Seattle Seahawks picks: Who prevails on Monday night?

Ah, Carlos, Dan can’t wait to bring receipts for you at the presser.
Guarantee Dan is tired of hearing 3 losses in a row under his watch. I bet the players are too. If they can rout the hags they will, if it takes grit, they’re going to get it done. Seattle will leave Detroit with a loss. Monty and Gibbs huge games coming. Jamo too. Third quarter doldrums won’t exist.
Just hope we come out without any more major injuries.

They have two DE and two DL out. I could draw up the game plan for that. If they’re smart, the Lions will have two very sore RBs in the morning.

If Ben doesn’t, Dan will.

What if they put 8 in the box? You’d still insist on running into a wall - without Ragnow and with new guys playing 2 positions on the OL?

That’s a fair Devil’s Advocate scenario, but that’s all it is. Obviously if they’re consistently putting 8 in the box I expect Ben to adjust to that.

38- 14 Lions MCDC’s Prime Time payback. 134yds Monte 96 yards Gibbs 260+ for Goff

Then you hit em with some nasty play action fakes. You wanna play 8 in the box… Jamo 50 yard TD coming.

Well, I dunno that it’s any more “that’s all it is” than your apparent assumption that the Seahawks won’t themselves adjust to missing 4 of their front 7. Given that the Lions rushed for 187 yds last week and that the Lions’ pass game has been relatively anemic, I think it’s a good bet that the Seahawks do something to shore up their run support. Whatever that is, I don’t expect our guys to abandon the run game, but “two tired RBs” may well not be the answer.

I never assumed anything. I said that if I was drawing up a game plan they’d be getting a heavy dose of two RBs. Of course SEA can adjust to that just like Ben can adjust to their adjustment. I’m not undermining your comment if that’s how you took it.
