I assume when Ivey finally gets healthy, he will settle into the Beasley role off the bench. I don’t know why you would be ‘fine’ with an awful player playing for the Pistons, though. Unless you admit you are being a tad hyperbolic.

I think Ivey was shooting 40% from three when he went down at mid-season.
Ivey will def. have to start when he comes back, Dunkin goes to the bench.
I love that Ausar is giving Cade a breal bringing it up. Cade’s turnovers have gone down, I think in the last two games he had 0 and 1 turnover.

I dont think Ivey is a long term 40% guy, but even 37 outta him is more than enough because he has those to the hoop quicks and hop.
He really could be a devastating scorer, upgraded JR Rider but a little smaller.

The Pistons need a second scorer, it’s why they struggle in the 4th so often when Cade is not in take over mode. You just can’t count on Ivey to be healthy or reliable IMO but I know they’ll give him some runway to earn it back. The Pistons are clearly a good team, a playoff team, but it’s likely a quick exit unless they find a legit #2 guy. Still plenty of season to sort this out though.
