Well if Skubal wasn’t starting this was my second choice for pitcher I wanted to see. Beautiful day for a game in Lakeland, althought $20 for parking, yea …2mi walk to the stadium so a little exercise as well.

I know it’s just ST and some finagling for at bats are in play, but Baez at 3rd is interesting.
Interesting or terrifying, lol.
Third base is interesting on what they may do there, Jung has a ways to go.
Tork has made it an interesting ST with his new approach at the plate, and it’s working, who would’a thunk…
His biggest fault per my friends was his refusal to change his approach on hitting, and doubled down after the 31homer season. But MLB is tough and when pitchers figured him out it was change or it’s a short career.
The OF injuries may create a spot for him as a DH while Carpenter plays more in the OF. Tigers have a glut of 2nd basemen in Detroit and the minors, most of whom are strong options. Adding Torres, while good, added to it.
Hey now… After Vogelbach got cut, the team plane goes 50 mph faster now
I was at today’s game and had a chance to watch Jobe up close.
Yankees were hitting the ball hard all game off him, barreling him up.
It’s a bit of a concern as far as missing bats, on the one hand he has had a good spring on the other, well, he has work to do as a young kid.
I’m almost at the point I’d rather keep Mize and Maeda and let Jobe keep working on things in Toledo
Torres with a good game, hit the ball hard every ab
How much does it cost to see a spring training game? @frm710
How’d Baez look at the hot corner?
My ticket was $42 via stubhub then another $18-22 in fees.
Fourth row in section 206 seat 2, basically behind home plate about 16 rows up.
I had paid for parking for the game rained out two weeks ago but decided to walk this time, parking is/was $20 plus fees.
Originally spent $140 on tickets, two tickets for that game, and parking which was rained out, was given a credit along with a 20% additional credit.
One error at third iirc, not great not terrible.
Edited: new link
Jung sent down
Lee iirc just outside the top 100 milb prospects.
Gibby stepping out of broadcasting.
Focus now on his Foundation and a new to open Parkinsons treatment center in Farmington Hills where patients and families pay nothing for treatments, counseling, lifestyle ideas, community/groups tyoe stuff.
Pretty awesome. Says he isn’t leaving baseball, and that his own Parkinson’s isn’t forcing this, but Im not so sure
I saw that, happy and sad for him. Saw what Parkinsons did to my mom over 25years, the last 4 or so years were not kind.
