He’s not amazing. May not even make the team but I feel more comfortable with him in coverage than Vildor.
Sin’s upside is certainly the highest but he hasn’t played to his peak in 4-5 years. It’s been a few with Maddox as well.

There’s still a lot of cap room to play with this season. Brad might want to roll it over, but we still need some more veteran depth at DE and definitely at Safety.

The article I read stated Philly often used him at safety…so he might be safety depth?

Seems a bit overkill at CB, wondering if they think one of these guys can double dip at safety.

Some teams only keep 5 CBs. I won’t complain though after all the injuries we have dealt with at CB the past couple seasons.

Rock Ya Sin seem like he would be the better option if we are going to cross train in the Will Harris/ Iffy DB versatility again

Everyone is talking about depth. We just signed two guys that couldn’t find a roster position on their own teams. Rock has jumped from team to team and Maddux hasn’t been good for awhile. The Eagles thought so highly of him that they drafted two CB’s with their first two pick last year.
Maddox played a lot of safety and even some LB last year.
Rock is in the Vildor depth cb role.
Brad and Dan run a meritocracy.
So he will always tell them they can compete to start.
He is the likely vet to take the Iffy role.
I believe a developmental safety may be drafted in the later rounds.
