I wonder if this is the start of the total tank/rebuild for the Raiders? They have almost zero talent on that roster. If so, could they rethink making Maxx available?

Doubtful. He’s the face of the franchise. Even bad teams need a guy or two to put butts in the seats. Maxx is that kind of guy.

I really like Clowney. Won’t impact long term plans. Reliably great in run defense. And in the right circumstances he could absolutely get us 8 sacks during the rest of the season. That’s a fraction of what we lost but we just sort of have to cobble together then in bits.
I have no idea how serious his injury is though.
