Lions burnt the bridge when CJ gave 9 years of his career and multiple injuries to the Lions and when he retired, the Lions were petty enough to ask for $1M back when NO OTHER TEAM does it. If you want class, in CJ’s situation, it ended when our dip$hit president asked for money back because he’s too stupid when it comes to the NFL to know better. I’m sure the moron marketed it to SFH, while thumping his chest, “I’ve been here less than one year and look at the money I saved you”.

people happy the lions took money back also applaud lions for trading Tate for something rather than get nothing in return which seems like lions might’ve had That option too - and get a return on calvin rather than force him to retire leaving the org with … no CJ … no return for CJ … and still not much winning… and Calvin career being scrutinized as a hall of fame candidate.
