I get that being canned isn’t fun, but it seemed like Quintrica took a rather classless exit. Not trying to dance on the grave, but man they both made more money and were given the highest positions in their field, than they ever had in their lives by the Fords and this team. Then they failed in miserable fashion. The least they could have done was put out a statement like Lynn did.

Is this the norm? Class act and honestly impressive, but is it the norm?

The mindset and thought process couldn’t be far from different when comparing Patricia with Caldwell/Lynn.
I expect Quinn/Patricia to resurface back to New England

Quinn and Patricia were remarkably immature in the execution of their very jobs. It’s no surprise that they’re also immature in being dismissed from said jobs.

Right. 100% agree. BQ had some…and i stress some…success as a GM. He wasn’t the worst. But he didn’t deserve to stay and from everything we are piecing together it sounds like some of the reasons they got rid of him was bc of how he treated people and ran his organization…

Lynn had a nice run time wise and he probably knows his time deserved to be up.
Patricia probably thinks it’s absurd he got fired.
Humility and self evaluation don’t seem to be strengths of Patricia or Quinn

The NFL is a cut throat business. Having some grace and class when you are fired is a nice human gesture, but winning is all that truly matters in the nfl. I really don’t care if the head coach updates his twitter with a nice message after being fired.
If Patricia and Quinn were dicks and we were successful, we’d all love them. They sucked, so we hate them. Sadly, this is human nature.
I think Lynn knows he will get another shot as a HC so he did the right thing and went out gracefully. Also shows the man he is…IMO.
Now compare that to Patricia, think we all know his only chance going forward is to run back to Billy. Doubt he ever gets another sniff as a HC so he took the cowardly way out…again IMO.
I’m expecting Patricia to end up Houston’s DC

C’mon bro, he needed to “change the culture” and show this craptastic franchise how to win. He sure showed us. I think something Flowers said is telling: He alluded to the fact that Patricia was a good coach and if people did their jobs they would have had success…I think you are 100% right…MP probably thinks he failed bc Detroit is a dumpster fire.

Well the Texans D was almost as bad as the Lions, so great fit.
I think he’s the fired coach that told Schefter he was relieved it was over.

Could you imagine him pulling shit he pulled here with JJ Watt? I don’t see him going back to DC after all the players openly celebrated his dismissal here. I bet some bs role before he’s a coordinator again.
