Levi Onzurwike. If the dude starts performing like he was portended to be, i.e. a high 2d Rd pick, that would be huge for a Lions DL which featured one of the worst graded performers on PFF–Benito Jones–and bottom of the roster types–Quinton Bohanna, Tyson Alualu, and Isaiah “Eat Ze” Buggs.

The fact that several different beat writers have all positively commented on him makes him an intriguing darkhorse candidate for a roster spot.

The one player I’ll be watching closest on offense and on defense is:
Morice Norris on defense because of beat writers hyping him and our safety depth is lower case iffy.
GioMan on offense because I want to see something more of him than the grainy draft clips of him at British Columbia. Just how far does this ball of clay have to go? I hope Sudfeld is playing then.

What a refreshing change for our beloved Lions. Its like no one cares if we win or lose, its about seeing how the young uns are growing and who has the best chances of making the 53.

With DJ Reader possibly out to start the season i wouldnt play Levi or Alim a single snap this preseason.
Preaseason is now for players who need reps or are fighting to make the team. I don’t think Levi needs reps at this point.
